Our HomeStay students stay with trusted, known families, all based in our local community...
We have been working with many of our host families for many years. All of them are personally inspected by our own dedicated team - to ensure your child receives the very best of care.
We encourage all host parents to pay close attention to dietary requirements, providing healthy foods and varied meals.
Celtic Bridge 'Family Standard'
The unique Celtic Bridge 'Family Standard' means treating each child as a member of our own extended family – keeping close communication with every child on every single day; chaperoning them when required; talking with them every day, and meeting up with the whole group once in a while - for a fun day of organized activities. This is all designed to make sure our students consistently get the very best from their Irish experience.
Living with an Irish family...
Students are expected to behave like any other member of their Irish family;
- They must follow the same rules that apply to the other children of the house.
- Children are expected to perform the same household chores that other members of the family do, with no exceptions.
- It is important they make an effort to integrate completely - to become an extra family member. They are encouraged to engage with their new family, in every way.
- Weekends especially are reserved as traditional family days in Ireland; students participate in whatever activities the family usually organize.
